The new district map
Ohio adopted a new congressional map on October 31, 2025, and 2026 is the first election held on it. Ohio's 13th Congressional District now covers all of Summit County, the northern and central part of Stark County including Canton and North Canton, and Kent and Streetsboro in Portage County. Canal Fulton, Lawrence Township and part of Massillon moved to a neighboring district. If you live near any of those lines, your district may have changed even though you didn’t move.
Who is on the ballot
Sandeep Dixit is running for U.S. House of Representatives as an Independent, with no party and no PAC money. The ballot also lists the Democratic incumbent and the Republican nominee. Your county board of elections publishes the certified ballot for your precinct:
Why an independent
Sandeep is an engineer and small business owner, not a career politician. He answers to the district, not a party — meet Sandeep and read where he stands on good jobs, affordable living, and the environment and privacy protections.
