What Sandeep Dixit for Congress collects on this site, why, and how long we keep it.

Information you give us

When you sign up through the join form, we collect your name, email address, and — if you choose to share them — your phone number, ZIP code, and how you’d like to help. We use this to contact you about the campaign, organize volunteers, and understand where our support is. We do not sell personal information.

Donations

Donations are processed by our donation processor on its own site. Payment details never touch our servers; the processor’s privacy policy governs the information you enter there. Federal law requires campaigns to collect and report certain contributor information to the Federal Election Commission.

The campaign assistant (chat)

Conversations with the AI assistant are recorded — the text of the exchange, the page the chat was opened on, and your browser type — so the campaign can see what visitors are asking and improve the assistant’s answers. Chats are not linked to your name, email, or any account, and we do not store your IP address with them. Transcripts are automatically deleted after 90 days. Please don’t type personal information like your address or phone number into the chat.

The district checker

If you use the “Am I in OH-13?” checker, the address you type or the location your browser shares is sent to the U.S. Census Bureau’s geocoding service to find the matching point on the district map, shown to you, and then discarded. We do not store or log it.

Analytics and cookies

We use Vercel Web Analytics, a cookieless tool that reports aggregate page views without identifying individual visitors. We also use Google Analytics, which sets cookies to help us understand site traffic; Google’s use of that data is described in Google’s privacy policy. This site sets no other cookies for visitors. Cloudflare Turnstile runs on our forms and chat to block automated abuse and processes your IP address and browser signals for that purpose only.
